Silent Prayer
The earth is full of your goodness, O God.
It sprouts green and grows into the roundness of fruit.
Its touch and its taste enliven our souls.
Let us know the seeds of life’s goodness within us and between us.
And let us handle its gifts with wonder.

*Introit Day by Day (Godspell version) lyrics R. #342
Day by day, dear Lord, of thee three things I pray:
to see thee more clearly, to love thee more dearly,
to follow thee more nearly, day by day.
*Call to Worship
One: From the depths of the sea to the tops of the highest mountains,
All: the wonder of God’s Creative Wisdom surrounds us!
One: All the birds of the air, the fish of the sea, and the creatures that cover the land...
All: Through creation, the imagination of God takes on flesh.
One: The same hand of God that has shaped the majesty of all the earth,
All: has brought us into being, and takes delight in us, and cries out for our attention.
How magnificent is the love of God!
*Passing of the Peace (ASL) and Lighting of Peace & Justice Candle
*Hymn Creator God, Creating Still B. #278
Creator God creating still, by will and word and deed,Create a new humanity to meet the present need.
Redeemer God redeeming still, with overflowing grace,Pour out your love on us, through us, make this a holy place.
Sustainer God, sustaining still, with strength for every day,Empower us now to do your will. Correct us when we stray.
Great Triune God, for this new day we need your presence still.Create, redeem, sustain us now to do your work and will.
*Invocation (in unison)
Holy Wisdom, we depend on you. In this world where we are pulled in so many directions all at once, we can get lost. Turned around. Confused about which way to go and why. We long to live faithfully, in mutual service to one another and the earth. In all our inevitable questions of how to live these intentions, draw near and be our guide. Amen

*Hymn Mothering God, You Gave Me Birth R. #84
Mothering God, you gave me birth in the bright morning of this world.
Creator, source of every breath, you are my rain, my wind, my sun.
Mothering Christ, you took my form, offering me your food of light,
grain of life, and grape of love, your very body for my peace.
Mothering Spirit, nurturing one, in arms of patience hold me close,
so that in faith I root and grow until I flow’r, until I know.
Prayers of the People – Sharing Joys & Concerns
Our Father (Creator, Mother) who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory,
forever. Amen
Lead me Lord, lead me in thy righteousness, make thy way plain before my face.
For it is thou Lord, thou Lord, only, that makest me dwell in safety.
Invitation to Offering – If we trust in God and one another, we will have all that we need to live faithfully. In a spirit of joy, let us bring our offerings and commitments to our community of faith.
Offertory O My Soul Rejoice With Gladness Karg-Elert
*The Doxology
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise God, all creatures here below;
Praise God for all that love has done; Creator, Christ, and Spirit, One. Amen .
*Prayer of Dedication (spoken in unison)
Come, Holy Spirit, and bless these gifts. Bless this community, that together we might be bold in our witness to your radical love. May all that we have and all that we are be blessed to the nourishment of all creation. Amen
*Hymn Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty R. #10 Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee;holy, holy, holy! merciful and mighty; God in three persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore thee, casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea; cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee, God ever-living, through eternity.
Holy, holy, holy! though the darkness hide thee, though the sinful human eye thy glory may not see; only thou art holy; there is none beside thee, perfect in power, in love, and purity.
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! All thy works shall praise thy name in earth and sky and sea; holy, holy, holy! merciful and mighty; God in three persons, blessed Trinity!
*Benediction
*Sung Benediction Lord, Dismiss Us with Your Blessing (vs. 1) R. #333
Lord, dismiss us with your blessing; fill our hearts with joy and peace;
let us each, your love possessing, triumph in redeeming grace:
oh, refresh us, oh, refresh us, traveling through this wilderness.

The church’s Hook & Hastings Pipe Organ was built in 1929 (OP 2577) for the Northern Conservatory of Music in Bangor. It was moved to Bar Harbor and to Hancock Point and was given to the Church by Edward Steinbach (1887–1984). It was installed by Stoddard Smith (of Northeast Harbor) in 1988 and was restored in 2020 by Messrs. Czelusniak et Dugal, Inc., Northampton, MA.
